Client: Premier Electrical Corporation

Project Description: Redesign for http://www.premiercorp.net

Introduction:
Premier Electrical Corp is an existing client that offers many electrical services which are mainly related to helping with build electrical infrastructure and helping with a wide-array of electrical issues for pretty much any sort of building that needs electricity. They’ve been in business for over 100 years and are known for having great knowledge about what they do and making sure their work is top-notch so that customers will recommend them and work with them again.

Goal for new site:
Most importantly, the site should help motivate users to fill out the contact form. It also should provide information on their services and the industries they work with. They want their redesigned site to look better, show off their work better, and more easily communicate to visitors who they are. The featured work and banner on the home page will keep the site looking fresh, and having a news section will also allow them to keep things updated for their customers and prospective customers. They are also interested in a client login area like http://www.cre8play.com/#darkside where their clients can download large files difficult to send via email.

Summary:
This website is pretty basic and involves things we’ve been doing for most of our recent websites. The client’s budget range for the site is about 40-50 hours but we’re okay presenting them with a higher number. The one section that isn’t that basic is the “Our Work” section that highlights Premier’s projects and has been designed in a cool way by Jenna. However, should there be a way to use an existing viewer that is very similar and will save a lot of time, let us know.

Mockups are schematic and can be changed if the development team has an improved or more efficient way for implementing something.

Planned sitemap: user end

- Home page – mockup 10 – header with social media links, basic menu navigation (mockup 11), automatically scrolling/sliding feature banner (mockups 12-13) manageable on the admin-end, content block, featured project area that highlights top 3 projects from “Our Work” section, most recent news, featured industries picked from content form the existing industries, and footer

- Our Work – mockup 20 – A page that shows the image, title, and location for various projects entered in by the admin. They should be sortable by completion date, alphabetical location, alphabetical title, or different projects can be shown with checkboxes.

- Mockup 21 – this is the viewer that shows when a visitor clicks on a project. It will have the project description and it’d be cool to let the visitor use this to go to different projects and images for the project they’re viewing

- Industries We Serve – Mockup 30 – An example of a content-only Industry page. The featured projects can be randomly generated from the entries for “Our Work”.

- Our Services – Mockup 40 -- An example of a content-only Industry page. The featured projects can be randomly generated from the entries for “Our Work”.

- Our Team – Mockup 50 – like how we’re doing for Synergy

- News & Press – mockup 60 –  Standard news we do

- Contact Us – mockup 70 – title, content-only introduction block, google map with phone/mailing address block, and contact form

- File Management – mockups 100+110 – should work just like http://www.cre8play.com/#darkside

Planned sitemap: admin end

- The admin mockups should be fairly self-explanatory since most functionality should be part of our QSF system except what we want to copy from Cre8play and the Our Work section. If Our Work can be tweaked slightly to be done more easily let us know. And, of course, ask the AT any questions or about anything we may have missed when creating the admin mockups or this summary.
