Scooter World Bird Toys
Scooter World Toys are a Parrot Island exclusive and are individually handmade
by Shari Beaudoin. Shari's outstanding designs have quickly become our best
selling toys. Customers are literally waiting for her next group of toys
to arrive at the store. Shari's designs show an understanding of what birds
prefer that you will find in few toy companies. Scooter World Toys are made
of 100% safe materials including vegetable tanned leather, naturally dyed
wood, safe plastic and marbella beads and stainless steel quick links. Because
they are all individually handmade these toys can sometimes vary slightly
in design from those pictured -- but never in any way that would make them
less interesting to your companion bird. Also, be sure to check back
as the toys offered on this page will change regularly.
While visiting Parrot Island in April of 2000 (presenting one of her wonderful seminars), Sally Blanchard of the Companion Parrot Quarterly (fka --Pet Bird Report) let us know how much she loved Shari's toy designs. This was truly high praise as Sally is sent a great amount of toys to test and give her opinions on each year. She 'had' to get one of the small ' Hide & Play' balls for Spike - her famous Black Capped Caique.
