Small/Medium &
Large Bird Diets
MAINTENANCE DIETS
We recommend these diets for juvenile birds up to one year of age, molting
birds or birds under stress. We also recommend this diet for certain 'specialty
needs birds' including some African Greys, Eclectus Parrots, Cockatoos,
etc... Please ask for our recommendation.
Ingredients: acetic acid, alpha tocopherol acetate (source
of vitamin E), ammonium hydroxide, ascorbic acid, biotin, calcium carbonate,
calcium pantothenate, cyanocobalamin (source of vitamin B-12), DL-methionine,
ethoxyquin (preservative), ethylenediamine dihydriodide (source of iodine),
folic acid, ground corn, ground wheat, L-lysine, manganese sulfate, menadione
sodium bi sulfate complex (vitamin K), natural apple flavoring, niacin,
peanut meal, propionic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, salt,
sodium selenite (on calcium carbonate), sorbic acid, soy meal, soy oil,
tartaric acid, thiamine, vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3 supplement, zinc
oxide. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein Minimum - 11.0%, Crude
Fat Minimum - 7.0%, Crude Fiber Maximum 3.5%, Moisture Maximum 12.0%.
LOW-FAT MAINTENANCE
DIETS
We recommend these diets for most birds over one year of age who are not
molting or under stress.
Ingredients: Acetic acid, alpha tocopherol acetate (source
of vitamin E), ammonium hydroxide, ascorbic acid, biotin, calcium carbonate,
calcium pantothenate, cyanocobalamin (source of vitamin B-12), DL-methionine,
ethoxyquin (preservative), ethylenediamine dihydriodide (source of iodine),

sodium bi sulfate complex (vitamin K), natural apple flavoring, niacin,

Roudybush Maintenance and Low-Fat Maintenance:
- Medium Pellet:
For birds from Senegal or Conure size up to the largest macaws.
- Crumble: For birds
from Parrotlet size on up to any bird that prefers smaller sized foods.
OPTIMUM HANDFEEDING FORMULA
Use as a handfeeding formula for all species of psittacines from day one
to weaning. Optimum provides an excellent nutritional composition that results
in optimum growth and brilliant feathering. Optimum growth means that the
weight gains are composed of healthy, lean muscle mass, not excess fat,
which can lead to health problems in the chick. Optimum is easy to mix and
clean up, it does not gel or continue to thicken once it is mixed, and it
does not separate in your mixing bowl or in the chick's crop. Do not give
additional vitamin or mineral supplements.
Ingredients: Alpha tocopherol acetate (source of vitamin E),
ascorbic acid, biotin, calcium carbonate, calcium pantothenate, choline
chloride, copper oxide, corn flour, corn starch, cyanocobalamin (source
of vitamin B-12), dicalcium phosphate, DL-methionine, ethoxyquin (preservative),
ethylenediamine dihydriodide (source of iodine), folic acid, manganese sulfate,
menadione sodium bi sulfate complex (vitamin K), niacin, potassium chloride,
pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, sodium selenite (on calcium carbonate),
soy flour, soy oil, soy protein isolate, thiamine, vitamin A acetate, vitamin
D3 supplement, zinc oxide. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein Analysis
- 21.0%, Crude Fat Minimum - 7.0%, Crude Fiber Maximum 5.5%, Moisture Maximum
12.0%.
