LORY LIFE NECTAR
Lory Life Nectar is a highly concentrated nectar product that dissolves instantly in tap water. It is designed to be used in conjunction with Lory Life powder diet. Both products are scientifically formulated and contain all of the nutrients known to be necessary for Lories and Lorikeets. Made from natural ingredients, this nectar is easily assimilated by these birds. At Parrot Island we recommend feeding these diets as approximately 2/3 of the diet, with fresh fruit (preferably organic), making up the rest of the diet. Natural color pigments are included to enhance color intensity of the plumage. This nectar is also an excellent supplement for Hanging Parrots.

LORY LIFE POWDER DRY DIET
Avico Lory Life Powder is a powdered dry diet for use in feeding all lories and lorikeets. It has also been used with success as a supplement for Fig parrots. Many softbill breeders use it as a sprinkle on their fruit mixes. It contains natural ingredients and is completely fortified with vitamins and minerals as well as natural coloring pigments, which enhance color intensity in the plumage. Lory Life Powder should be provided in an open dish and should be kept in front of lories at all times. Because the diet is dry, spoilage does not occur. Acceptance is excellent, with most birds eating the powder upon introduction. We recommend the use of Lory Life Nectar in conjunction with Lory Life Powder along with fresh fruit as a complete diet for these birds.

ROUDYBUSH LORY NECTAR Feed mixed with water as a nectar or as the dry powder to nectivores, such as lories and lorikeets, when breeding or at maintenance. Although some lory breeders use Lory Nectar as a handfeeding formula, we recommend using Optimum Handfeeding Formula for best results. Low Fat Maintenance crumbles may also be fed to lories and lorikeets if they will accept them, giving them drier, easier to manage droppings. The crumbles can also be ground into a powder, which nectivores will generally accept more readily. Feeding the nectar dry will also yield somewhat drier droppings. When switching a nectivore from other brands of nectars to Roudybush it is sometimes helpful to mix _ powdered sugar into the nectar and slowly decrease the amount. Other brands generally have much more sugar than Roudybush Lory Nectar, which the birds do not need but they do get used to and like. Do not give additional vitamin or mineral supplements. Fresh fruit treats may be given as a minor part of the diet.
