Subsidized-Housing: 1497 units, including Public Housing (708), Multi-Family Housing (157), Tax Credit Housing (315), Rural Development Administration Housing (124), Bond issue (non-subsidized) Housing (90), as well as a secure psychiatric housing facility (16), family shelter (26), Shelter Plus Care Housing (16), and half-way house for
ex-convicts(45) – Smoking prohibited in all rental units or in any interior common areas, including but not limited to community rooms, community bathrooms, lobbies, reception areas, offices, hallways, stairways, elevators, trash rooms, storage rooms, and laundry rooms. Smoking is prohibited within ten (10) feet of windows, doors, and air intake units/vents. Smoking is also prohibited outside in areas such as entry ways, porches, patios, balconies, underneath balconies/stairways, breezeways, walkways, outside stairwells, outside stairs, and playgrounds. This No Smoking Policy applies to all residents, guests, visitors, service personnel, and employees.
