Yes, all Minnesota Chapter members receive a copy of the Chalkline newsletter. Chalkline is published four times a year: spring, summer, fall and winter. Current and past issues of the newsletter are available on the Chapter website under RESOURCES => NEWSLETTERS. To name a few, each issue features several noteworthy items: a calendar of Chapter events, message from the Chapter President, updates on Chapter events, director and committee reports, and bios of current and past members.
Absolutely! We highly encourage members to submit timely, technical, and noteworthy articles for publication in the Chalkline. Contact a Chapter Communications Committee member with your idea at least a couple of months prior to publication.

What is the Minnesota Chapter of APWA?
The Minnesota Chapter is one of 64 American Public Works Association (APWA) chapters across North America. The Chapter comprises 900 members and is governed by an Executive Committee of four officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer and Past-President), Chapter Delegate to APWA, and seven directors. Each Executive Committee member works with one of the Chapter's 11 technical or general committees. Each Committee is chaired by a Chapter member and the committees provide input to the Executive Committee on the conduct of Chapter business.
The primary duties of the Minnesota Chapter are to advance the theory and practice of the design, construction, maintenance, administration and operation of public works facilities and services; disseminate information and experiences; promote improved practices in the public works field; expect that all public works association members will adhere to high professional and ethical standards; and improve the professional and social involvement of its members.
